Located right ‘on the beach’, this hidden secret of the Fort Lauderdale Beach community is on top of the famous “Primanti Brothers” just south of Sunrise Blvd. and A1A. Owned by a local couple for over a decade, be made to feel at home with some of the greatest Thai food in all of Fort Lauderdale. All the while, take in scenic beach views as the sun slowly sets and Fort Lauderdale Beach becomes illuminated by street lights and the warm moon hanging over the ocean.
For a ritzier dinner, no pun intended, visit Burlock Coast, another Fort Lauderdale Beach staple, located on the ground floor of the Fort Lauderdale Beach Ritz Carlton. Here you will find high-end and high-quality food choices encompassing Fort Lauderdale Beach. Another excellent spot to take in the beach as the sun begins to set and the moon rises over the Atlantic.
For an actual on the beach experience visit Aruba’s, which is nestled in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea off Commercial Ave. and A1A. Have amazing seafood along with a Caribbean vibe. After dinner take a walk over to the Anglin's Fishing Pier and take in the beautiful night’s sky and ocean, all the while providing breathtaking views of Fort Lauderdale Beach’s coastline without a boat and staying dry!
For a downtown Las Olas feel, but also quieter scene visit Boathouse. This restaurant provides calm and breathtaking views of the Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal. With amazing tapas and drinks you won’t regret bringing your date. A trip on the water taxi, which stops just yards away from the restaurant, could add extra romance and docadince to your evening. For the evening they will have Plain leaf wrapped whole branzino with tostones, citrus, thyme, rosemary, sage, & garlic mojo sauce. Then indulge in their “Heart to Heart” Red velvet cake dessert made with raspberry ganache and cream cheese Chantilly. $45 for Two People
Another excellent choice for seafood, stop by 17th street fisheries for a high-end dinner on the water. Another accessible by water taxi, surprise your date with not only an excellent dinner, but boat ride to preface!
Enjoy Dessert and a show at B Ocean’s Wreck Bar. This historic destination is one of the few places in the world where you can enjoy the beauty of living mermaids from a porthole view while enjoying a tropical cocktail and dining on fresh seafood.
Make sure to grab a seat for the world-famous Wreck Bar Mermaid Show with MeduSirena and her pod of Aquaticats at 7PM followed by a co-ed performance with the Sirens & Sailors at 10PM.
From 8PM – 11PM you can partake in the endless dessert buffet and bubbles for $45.

A restaurant full of history; Jova House, now home of Casablanca Café, was built in 1927 for its original owner, Mrs. J. J. Jova. The two-story masonry dwelling, commissioned by Juan Jacinto Jova, was designed by architect Francis L. Abreu, Jova’s grandson. It was the first home constructed on Fort Lauderdale Beach and is the oldest remaining structure.Blanca.
